Identification and Informal Value Consultation Services

Earthforged Rock Shop offers rock, mineral, gemstone, fossil, and specimen identification and informal value consultation services.

A brief initial review may be conducted to determine the scope, quantity, complexity, and research required.

Paid identification and informal value consultation services are subject to a minimum service fee of $20. Additional fees may apply depending on the number of items, complexity of the request, research involved, and type of information requested. Applicable pricing will be communicated before paid work begins.

Earthforged may provide limited identification assistance without charge at its discretion. Complimentary assistance is voluntary, depends on the circumstances, and does not create an obligation to provide similar services in the future.

Any identification or value information provided is based on the information and materials reasonably available at the time. Earthforged does not guarantee a definitive identification, future resale price, or market value.

Any value information provided is an informal estimate only and is not a certified or formal appraisal for insurance, tax, legal, estate, lending, investment, or other regulated purposes.

Section 6 — Accuracy of Billing and Account Information

We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel an order when reasonably necessary, including quantities purchased per person, household, account, payment method, billing address, or shipping address.
